When it comes to starting any celebration, is there a better way to do it than with sparkling wine? And we're not just talking about a big get-together like Easter or the holidays. Sure, drinking Champagne (or Cava and Prosecco) on its own is nice, but these fun sparkling wine cocktails, add an instantly festive air to any private event.

 


French 75

The French 75 is among the fanciest of cocktails. Sure, there’s the tried-and-true Margarita and the timeless Old Fashioned, but the French 75 has got what those two don’t – Champagne!

Add Citadelle Gin , lemon juice, and simple syrup to a shaker filled with ice. Shake until completely chilled then strain into a champagne flute. Top with Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut NV and garnish with a lemon twist.

Passion-Martini

Prosecco Mint Julep

This festive sparkling drink is perfect for your next cocktail hour. A light mint julep, with the addition of Cavicchioli 1928 Prosecco DOC provides a pleasant brightness and effervescence that plays well with the rich, caramelized tones of bourbon.

In a mint julep cup or highball glass, muddle mint leaves and simple syrup with a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon handle until mint is dark green and has lost its shape.

Add Maker's Mark Bourbon, then ice, Cavicchioli 1928 Prosecco DOC, and Angostura Bitters, and gently stir to combine. Garnish with more mint.


Lemonade Mimosas

Lemonade + Mimosas? Yes please! This is so simple, you’ll barely need a recipe. We suggest the 3-parts champagne to 2-parts lemonade, but feel free to use our proportions as a guide and change it up as you prefer.

In a shallow dish, mix lemon zest and sugar.

Rim champagne flutes with a lemon wedge and dip in sugar mixture.

Place one slice of lemon inside each champagne flute, bending if needed.

Fill flute halfway with Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut NV and top with lemonade. Serve.
