3 Easy Mocktails for Dry January

Once upon a time, non-alcoholic cocktails had a pretty boring reputation. Today, alcohol-free options are just as fun, sophisticated, and delicious as their alcohol-included counterparts. Between the plethora of dealcoholized wines, beer, and even spirits, it's easier than ever to enjoy a nice beverage without feeling left out.


1. Virgin Cucumber Gimlet

 

The gimlet is a classic cocktail that has been around for decades. In fact, it is almost centuries old! A drink that has this long-lasting power has to be good. Enjoy this classic with a fresh, non-alcoholic twist!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz club soda
  • 4-5 slices of muddled cucumber
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup


Directions

Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Serve in a rocks glass over crushed ice. Garnish with a rolled cucumber slice.


2. Shirley Ginger

 

Even the Shirley Temple deserves a 'glow-up', with just a few ingredients you can make a delicious mocktail that is sweet, refreshing and perfect for everyone!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups  Ginger Beer
  • 1 cup club soda
  • 3 tps lime juice
  • .25 cup grenadine


Directions

Stir ginger beer, club soda, lime juice, and grenadine in a pitcher. Pour into tall glasses with ice. Garnish with lime rounds and or maraschino cherries.


3. Virgin Paloma

 

Get ready to refresh your day with a Virgin Paloma Mocktail! Light, citrusy and super refreshing. Palomas are usually made with tequila or rum but this non-alcoholic version is ideal for anyone!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz lime juice
  • 2 oz sweetened grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz agave syrup
  • Healthy pinch of sea salt


Directions

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Strain over ice into a Collins glass and top with soda.
