On the nose it is fruity and honeyed on acacia and broom with citrus, apricot, tobacco and licorice, while on the palate are rich, oily notes on beeswax with tropical fruits, hazelnut and slight anise notes. To give the rum a unique and sophisticated twist, it spends a final year maturing in Rivesaltes wine barrels, creating a lovely wine influence that contributes fruity and aromatic notes, enhancing the rum's existing characteristics.
