The 2019 J. Lohr Hilltop Cabernet Sauvignon is exceptionally dark in colour with aromas of blackberry, black currant, and toasted pastry crust. It is dense and soft on the palate, with elegant layers of black and red currants leaving a bright finish. Will age beautifully for 8 to 12 years. Absolutely delicious with rosemary seasoned ribeye and garlic-roasted potatoes with parsnips and fennel. Going for cheese? Try with Vermont Cheddar, Gorgonzola Dolce, Humboldt Fog.
