Description

Sister Moon got its name from Sting's 1987 hit album Nothing Like the Sun. and was the first IGT Toscana wine produced at Il Palagio. The 2016 vintage is a delicious, full-bodied style with intense aromas of black pepper, licorice and blackberries. In the mouth it is silky and rich with firm tannins and supported by a smooth, elegant, fruit-forward feel. Definitely a winner to be enjoyed now and over the next few years. Having a sirloin steak, then do seek out Sister Moon, or you may like pasta or tomato style pizza. Even an oily fish such as grilled tuna will do nicely.
