The sandy soils of this region contribute to the elegance of the wine while the heavier clay soils add some spicy depth to the character. Careful, cool fermentation followed by extended time sur lie balances the bright acidity and profound sweetness. Delightful flavours of lemon, peach, and ripe honeydew lead to a creamy mouthfeel.
