Description

Limoncino Bottega is a "limoncello", traditional Italian liqueur, dating back to the end of the nineteenth century. It is produced from an infusion of "Femminello" lemon peel. This cultivar which is widespread in Italy and characterised by a peel with a thin grain and high-quality essential oils. This variety of lemon is called "Femminello" because of the fertility of the plant, which flowers all year round. The lemons are grown naturally and picked at the peak of ripeness, washed and peeled by hand, removing the white part (bitter) and only selecting the yellow peel which is rich in essential oils. The lemon peels are infused in alcohol for about 30 days. This allows the extraction of the aromatic and colouring substances. The liquid is then separated from the peel. Finally, sugar and high-quality grappa is added, making this Limoncino unique and unmistakable. Irresistible when added as a complimentary ingredient for aperitifs, excellent as an after-dinner drink, it also goes well with ice-creams, sorbets and fresh fruit salads.

Wineworldinc.com is open to taking orders online 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. We do, however, observe all National Holidays in Barbados. Should your order be scheduled to be delivered on one of these days, we will reschedule for the next business day.

International Deliveries

We do not offer international delivery at this time.

Free Delivery

We offer FREE island wide delivery in Barbados on orders $250 BBD and more. Orders less than $250 BBD can be collected at any one of our six locations or we can deliver for a fee of $25 BBD. Our delivery team is on the road Monday through Saturday. We require 48 hours within which to make the delivery. Please note the delivery fee applies to one delivery location per order. Additional delivery locations may inccur a delivery fee.

Next Day Delivery

We are happy to offer next day delivery on orders placed Monday through Friday before 5pm. Orders placed after 5pm will be delivered on the following delivery day. Orders placed from 5pm on Friday through 5pm on Sunday, will be delivered on Monday.

To make arrangements for your purchase to be delivered, at checkout, simply select the day and period of time we can deliver your purchase. Please indicate your preferred delivery window: 12pm to 3pm or 2pm to 5pm.

Due to the nature of the products we sell, we require that they are signed for by an adult upon delivery. We cannot accept any instructions to leave the goods in any location, however secure, without being signed for.

In-Store Pickup

Store Pickup

If you select Store Pickup as the delivery option at checkout, you can choose which Wine World store you wish to collect your order from. Store Pickups are available the next business day.

You can pick up your order yourself or have someone else do it.

If you're picking up yourself: Have your order number (from the "Order Confirmation" email) and a valid government-issued photo ID ready.

If someone else is picking up:

You (the purchaser) need to provide the contact details of the person collecting your order at checkout.
In the order comments at checkout, provide the pickup person's full name and phone number.
The pickup person will need to show their valid government-issued photo ID and the order number at the store. (They must be 18 years of age or older).

Wine World reserves the right to decline delivery if you or your representative cannot verify your identity.

Pricing Policy

Our prices are quoted in Barbados Dollars and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT, 17.5%). Our conversion to US Dollars is $1.98 BBD = $1 USD. All prices are shown per bottle unless otherwise stated.

For wine and spirit purchases we offer a Single Bottle Price, 6 Bottle Price and a 12 Bottle Price. Our Single Bottle Price is a standard retail price.

Container deposit will be added to the cart at checkout where applicable.

Six Bottle Pricing

When you purchase 6 - 11 bottles of wine and/or spirits 70 cl and greater in size and receive a 10% discount. Our 6 Bottle Price includes your 10% discount. This pricing applies when you mix wine and spirit purchases. Note: Our 6 Bottle Price cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.

Twelve Bottle Pricing

When you purchase 12 bottles or more of wine and/or spirits 70 cl and greater in size, you receive a 20% discount. Our 12 Bottle Price includes your 20% discount. This pricing applies when you mix wine and spirit purchases. Note: Our 12 Bottle Price cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.
