A clean, powerful nose and displaying citrus and fruit notes, Pontellón is made according to a process in which alcoholic fermentation is delayed before completion so that greater sweetness can thus be obtained. The effect of the Atlantic is very prominent in this wine, bracing acidity frames a palate of intense lime citrus, oyster shell, minerality and salinity. On the palate it is well-structured, with plenty of body, fruity and citrusy notes, leading to a long, elegant finish. A thirst-quenching, minerally wine. A complement to all kinds of seafood such as lobster, oyster, shrimp, and langoustines. Also, delicious with a Thai and Japanese cuisine, fresh salads and goat cheese.
