The nose has an immediate attack of lemongrass and grapefruit with notes of hay and fennel. The palate has a rich textural mouthfeel of lanolin and waxy lemons. Pithy, affirmatively tart with bright acidity this would be a joyous accompaniment to oily fish or green curries. Great with white fish, roast chicken dishes, or tiger prawns with chili. Try also with buljol on salt bread.

A fresh and vibrant nose of crushed red fruits, hints of redcurrant and wild plum with lightly herbal notes, cloves and star anise. Plush and richly flavoured with ripe black fruit, a savoury mid palate and subtle, gently spicy oak backed by juicy acidity. The rich fruit is offset by fine tannins on an attractively muscular finish. If you love grilled meats, especially lamb and spiced meat dishes then go all out with this wine.
